WiGo Wireless was founded in 2002, but the concept was years in the making.
Rob Link, President and Founder of WiGo Wireless, brought 13 years of experience in the wireless industry to this new business. Rob's goal was to provide customers with a higher end buying experience for wireless products and services. He wanted to offer customers expert advice and friendly service. All that and more has been accomplished at WiGo Wireless.
Since the store opened in 2002 WiGo Wireless has been featured in a few news stories, quoted in many articles, advised new companies and appeared prominently in the 2007 CEA 'Winning at Wireless Retail Guide'.

2002 November - Featured on local Falls Church Cable show as a new innovative company.
2004 June - Featured on WRC-TV Digital Edge technology special about Bluetooth Hands free options.
2004 November - Commented on WRC-TV Consumer report about the dangers of exploding after market Cell Phone batteries.
2006 September - Featured on WRC-TV Digital Edge technology special about the possible RIM Blackberry shutdown and options for mobile e-mail.
2006 December - Featured on WRC-TV consumer report about buying unlocked GSM phones.
2007 January - WiGo Wireless' retail store was used as an example throughout the Consumer Electronics Association publication Winning at Wireless Retail Guide.
